Dealing with Depression and Anxiety Naturally

Constantly, I’m approached by clients that are dealing with Anxiety and Depression. So much so, that I have spent the last few months educating myself on the in’s and out’s of this Debilitating disorder.

1. Leaky Gut or Gut Dysbiosis
Listen as I give my top 5 tips in dealing with Depression and Anxiety with Natural solutions.
I am a Firm believer that at the root cause of this is Leaky Gut Syndrome that is caused by Glyphosate sprayed on the crops, and also by increased Gluten and Milk allergies. I have personally seen clients fix their brain chemistry by adopting a gut first healing protocol.

2. Anti Inflammatory Diet

Next we have to focus on an Anti inflammatory diet that consist of foods that don’t irritate the gut or that don’t trigger the immune system. This way we can preserve the gut lining and synthesize the right amino acids correctly that will make our proper brain chemicals. Yes, our brain chemicals are made from what we absorb and use from our digestive tract.

3. Sunshine

Yes, Sunshine has the ability to stimulate the production of serotonin, which is one of our main mood regulators. Have you ever been out on the lake or beach all day and wondered man I feel so happy and grateful today. How do you sleep that night? Like a baby if your like me! Sunshine in the early morning has the ability to stimulate Serotonin production leaving us in a better mood for the rest of the day. Have time for an early morning walk maybe?

4. Sleep

The most common thing I see with people who really struggle with depression and anxiety is  that they like to stay up late and sleep late into the morning. This actually further disrupts our bodies ability to make neurotransmitters for the day. Circadian rhythm is key to being in balance for this delicate cycle to work well. Focus on getting to bed before 10pm and rise when the sun comes up. This will highly regulate your neurotransmitter production and balance, and it will allow your mind to get restful sleep that will also decrease cortisol and anxiety.

5. Regulate your blood Sugar

The more you have high swings of blood glucose and insulin throughout the day, the more you have cortisol spikes when your blood sugar drops too low. This in turn allows for the body to be in a higher state of stress because of blood sugar instability. Focusing on lower glycemic foods will not only heal the gut, but it will also allow us to burn more fat for fuel which is way less stressful on the body, because it knows it can tap into body fat at any given time if it needs energy.

Watch the video, and let me know if you have any questions.  Let me know what you are dealing with or if I can help in any way. My heart goes out to all those who struggle with this evil and discouraging disorder.
